On behalf of the Strauss Foundation and its sponsors, Héctor Vásquez organized the traditional distribution of bags with household items for the Mother's Day celebration on Saturday afternoon.
Some 425 families have enjoyed this traditional activity, which Vásquez has been organizing for 25 years during Christmas, Mother's Day and other commemorative days.
Hundreds of families from different sectors of Sosúa have benefited from it.

Vásquez, also on behalf of the Strauss family, thanked the many sponsors who have supported Don Herman Strauss's initiatives over time.
Herman Strauss, co-owner of the former Productos Sosúa, who died in 2017, was always concerned about the poor and social inequality.
Héctor Vásquez, a modest member of the community, but with the trust and support of the Strauss Foundation and a group of businessmen who have placed their confidence in him, can confirm that everything has gone according to plan again.
