On behalf of Mayor Wilfredo Olivence, a major cleaning operation was carried out at the mouth of the Sosúa River near El Tablón, with the aim of removing large tree trunks and debris that have entered the river due to recent rainfall and seriously hinder the flow of water.

The fire brigade, landscape architecture department and civil protection worked together to ensure safety in the area and remove obstacles in the river.
This operation is part of the preventive measures taken by the mayor's office to protect citizens and keep the municipality's waterways in optimal condition.
The City Council reaffirms its commitment to environmental protection, citizen safety and cooperation among institutions serving the public.
