Mayor Willy Olivences has instructed the Sosúa Fire Department to work with the Civil Guard and members of the National Health System to be prepared for anything during Semana Santa 2025.
This initiative is intended to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and tourists visiting Sosúa during this period.
Operation Semana Santa 2025
Operation Semana Santa 2025 mainly focuses on prevention and response to emergencies, responding to fire incidents, rescue operations and responding to medical emergencies.
Checkpoints have been set up where assistance and medical care can be provided.
Everyone should ensure that there is a safe and enjoyable environment in which to enjoy the festivities, minimize risks and ensure a quick and effective response in the event of an emergency.
Especially on Saturdays, when most of the festivities take place.
The community and visitors are encouraged to work together by following safety recommendations and using available services responsibly.
