After decades of waiting, the project that so many demanded and protested for, a hospital for Sosúa, is finally being built.
In any case, a lot of work is already being done on it.
Minister José Ignacio Paliza expressed satisfaction with the progress this hospital has made.
It will strengthen emergency care and trauma care in the region.
But there is more.
Following the guidelines of Mayor Wilfredo Olivences, work will continue along the entire main road, with the aim of improving safety and traffic flow for residents.

These efforts are part of the Mayor's commitment to maintain and improve road infrastructure, ensuring better access and traffic flow for motorists and pedestrians.
Mayor Wilfredo Olivences and Councilor Francisco Martínez (Cholo) are also ensuring that the reconstruction and renovation of Villa Liberación Park is progressing steadily.
This project symbolizes the well-being of the community and offers a renovated space for recreation, relaxation and social contact for the families of Villa Liberación.
The work includes the construction of playgrounds, benches, lighting, green areas and paths, making the park an ideal meeting place for the neighborhood.
This project also confirms the commitment of the municipal government to the well-being of the citizens of Sosúa.
