The Sosúa Fire Department, together with students from the Politécnico José Morel and the Escuela Ausberto Luna Lagombra schools, held a successful training session on firefighting and the use of equipment.
This training was given by Greensko Méndez Rodríguez, an expert in this field and specialist at Texas A&M University.
The training, overseen by Fire Department Chief Orlando Álvarez and Deputy Chief Adalberto Mena, aimed to strengthen the emergency response skills of both firefighters and participating students.

Demonstrations of equipment use and advanced firefighting strategies were provided during the day.
The training took place at the new fire station of Sosúa.
