Since yesterday, December 15, the restrictions on the hours at which alcoholic drinks can be sold have been extended.
Opening hours extended
This was announced by the Ministry of the Interior and Police.
The measure will remain in force until January 3, 2025.
During this period, discos, bars, clubs, restaurants, event centers, colmados and casinos are allowed to sell alcohol until 3 a.m. from Sunday to Thursday.
On Fridays and Saturdays even until 4 am.
Moreover, there are no time limits at all for December 24 and 31, 2024, so they can stay open for 24 hours.
In Sosúa there are usually longer opening hours.
