The Christmas season in Sosúa has started with the switching on of the Christmas lights in the Parque de las Banderas. Mayor Wilfredo Olivences was of course present, but also representatives of the armed forces, community leaders and hundreds of citizens. During the event, the words of Mayor Olivences stood out as he said: "This is an opportunity to unite as a community and celebrate the values ??of hope, peace and joy that characterize this time of year. The lighting of the lights included Christmas music and enthusiastic participation from the people, who took the opportunity to share with their families and capture unforgettable moments. The Parque de las Banderas remains illuminated throughout the Christmas period and becomes a meeting point for residents and visitors.
