After 27 days without tap water, the residents of Sosúa sectors Villa Paraíso 1 and 2, Villa Samaritano (El Pomo) and other nearby communities can breathe a sigh of relief thanks to the intervention of political and social leader Orlando Medina.
Medina, accompanied by a group of community members, began working to fix the pipeline fault that left hundreds of families without services.
They have tap water again
This action was received with gratitude by residents, who emphasized that Medina's commitment to the community transcends political interests.
This is not a campaign gesture; It is a sign of their true concern for the well-being of the community, said José Agustín Abreu on behalf of those affected.
For his part, Juan Luna (Olguín) pointed out that the lack of water had caused serious problems for families, describing Medina's intervention as timely and necessary.
With this action, Orlando Medina confirms his social and political leadership in the region and consolidates himself as a figure who prioritizes the needs of the community.
Work on the pipeline continues and it is expected that the tap water supply will be fully restored soon.
