Despite all the rain, an important meeting took place yesterday in the municipality of Sosúa, bringing together businessmen from the area and local authorities to find solutions to the problems facing the Pedro Clisante nightlife street.
During the meeting, the businessmen presented their concerns and proposals, listened attentively by Mayor Wilfredo Olivences, but also by councilors Cristina Sánchez and Wellinton Padilla.

Also present were the director of urban planning, Norberto Mota, and representatives of the National Police and Politur, who expressed their commitment to work together to improve conditions in this important area of Sosúa.
The conversation resulted in preliminary agreements and a commitment for follow-up, for the benefit of urban development and the safety of the municipality.
And today these agreements were immediately followed up.
Mayor Wilfredo Olivences in collaboration with various law enforcement agencies, including the Tourist Police (Politur), the National Police and other competent authorities, toured the street.
This aimed to discuss the possibilities to ensure the safety of citizens and improve public order in one of the busiest areas of the city.
Citizens and merchants in Pedro Clisante expressed their support and gratitude for the presence of the authorities, underscoring the relevance of such meetings in improving the quality of life in the community.
