Today a very famous person from Sosúa passed away. The scratch card seller Martin, as he was known to most tourists. In Los Charamicos, Sosúa, where he lived, he was affectionately called Matitina. For as long as we can remember, we have known Martin walking on the beach and through El Batey to sell his scratch cards. He was a very nice and sweet, not pushy man. Even though his eyesight was getting worse and his mobility was getting worse, he didn't give up.
We wish his family and friends strength in coping with this loss.
