The owner of the restaurant / hotel Don Andres has in previous years done much to improve his hotel and restaurant.
Both the restaurant, the kitchen as well as the rooms are so much better, they comply with every modern standard.
For example, the restaurant got a beautiful tiled floor and new furniture a while ago.

The bar and entrance were also renewed.
The pool is has been upgraded with a very nice blue tiled floor and walls and there are many new plants and trees placed around the pool.
The seats and loungers by the pool are new and very comfortable.
In the past year, also part of the apartments and studios have been modernized.
The bathrooms with toilets are now completely renovated and really look beautiful.
Moreover, the entire furniture (sofas and beds) in the apartments, have been renewed.
Each apartment is equipped with TV, some of them with a flat screen.
Furthermore, each apartment features a new access system.

The door can be opened or closed with an electronic card.
This system gives the guests more comfort and security.
The not yet renovated apartments will be done in May and June, so in the off season.

With all these improvements, Restaurant / Hotel Don Andres belongs to the better hotels in Sosúa and certainly deserves, according to some guests, one more star.
