Colegio Luis Hess pays much attention to artistic training of its students.
Thursday morning, February 6, 20 students of the Colegio Luis Hess visited, in the context of the artistic training lessons, the studio of artist Leon Díaz located at the entrance of the beach of Sosúa.
Leo is an acclaimed artist with works that has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions.
His work has been exhibited in Santo Domingo, Santiago, Puerto Plata and recently some of his works was exhibited at Casa de Arte in Sosúa.
The students were given explanations and demonstrations of different techniques.

Leo also told about the influences in his work by famous artists such as Michelangelo, Tintoretto, Rembrandt and more recently the impressionist Vincent van Gogh.
The group of students consisted of 13 girls and 7 boys and they showed a lot of interest in Leo's work and asked more than a few questions.
Leo tried to answer, friendly smiling, as much as possible all of the questions.
Colegio Luis Hess headed by director Miguel Ángel Rivera, adheres great importance to students doing research in the real world.
They do it by visiting a farm, a factory, an institute and now a studio of artist Leo Díaz.
