Ad, the owner of the famous former beach bar The Black Box, is back in Sosúa after a long holiday in the Netherlands.
He has now started as manager in the bar / restaurant 'Good Old Germany'.
This bar / restaurant is located next to the Car Wash on the road to Cabarete.
Together with the owner Henny, Ad wants to promote the establishment as the meeting place for residents and faithful holidaymakers.
Last Thursday the famous BBQ (known from the Black Box) continued in 'Good Old Germany".
There were at least 60 loyal customers, curious visitors and BBQ connoisseurs present.
In short, it was a great atmosphere with lots of good food and yes, of course with a beer.

Despite the BBQ only costs 350 pesos, they had not saved on the quality.
Many kinds of meat, sauces, three kinds of salads, french fries, rice and macaroni.
So from now on it is every Thursday evening BBQ time in 'Good Old Germany'.
But Ad has more plans for the future.
He wants contract bands to perform, set up card tournaments and dance evenings.
Bar / Restaurant 'Good Old Germany' opens at 9 in the morning and is open until late in the evening.
So you can also enjoy your breakfast, your lunch and of course an evening out.
And the prices, well, these are really more than reasonable.
