The well-known Rumba Bar in the main road Clisante Pedro is still the most popular bar of Sosúa.
First, the music is just fine because they play all kinds of music, to suit everybody's taste.
It is the only bar in this part (the party mile) of the Pedro Clisante where a bottle of beer still costs 70 pesos and for a big bottle of beer, you pay 100 pesos.
In the bar there is a dance hall and especially in the weekends it is crowded.
Many a bit better situated Dominicans like to visit the Rumba Bar so if you like to dance, or even want to learn to dance, there is always a possibility.
The sports enthusiasts are not forgotten in the Rumba Bar.
The bar is equipped with eight large TV screens and outside on the terrace there is a 10 feet wide projection screen.
On these screens, the sports fan can watch all big sporting events including boxing, football, basketball, baseball, soccer and UFC freefight events.

Beside the bar is a grill restaurant located where you can enjoy a nice meal for a very nice price.
Check out their 'Chicken wings' or eve better, you really should try their specialty: 'Hot Bufalo chicken wings'.
Currently the Rumba Bar is expanding.
Over the restaurant a VIP Sky Top Lounge is being built.
Here you can sit in luxurious sofas and enjoy a beer or glass of wine and the view of the nightlife in the street.
Of course the VIP Sky Top Lounge is also equipped with large TV screens so sports enthusiasts can enjoy all the big sport events too.
The management of the Rumba Bar also feels very involved in the social life of Sosúa.
There are a number of sports clubs equipped with sports equipment and sportswear, balls, etc.
Another example is a US $ 20,000 donation to the Mustard Seed Foundation a few months ago.
In all, the Rumba Bar is the place to be in the Pedro Clisante.
I love Sosúa
