The bar and restaurant Romanoff in Sosúa is the place where tourists and residents meet each other.
The restaurant is open from half past seven in the morning.
It is already crowded in the morning, as the very affordable and well prepared breakfasts (110-160 pesos) are highly enjoyed by many of them.
In the afternoon (especially Germans guests) come to see Bundesliga football and European Cup football games.
Early in the evening the restaurant gets crowded with loyal American, Canadian and German tourists and residents.
Klaus and Andy, the owners of the popular restaurants are always present to greet their customers personally.
Klaus Schütte, eight years ago after another happy holiday, decided to stay in Sosúa.
He could make that decision, because Andy asked him if he would assist him in the kitchen and bar of the restaurant.
The restaurant offers, next to many German dishes, lots of Thai and Dominican dishes on the menu.
Moreover, the quality is high and the prices affordable.

The kitchen closes around 11 PM, but the bar remains open, and the Bohemia beer is served until the last guest decides it's enough and leaves.
It often occurs that after midnight all the guests decide to continue the party in the Pedro Clisante street, but then the popular Klaus does have to accompany the group.
And Klaus is very easy to persuade.
Then you see him a little later with his customers (his friends) at the bar of Merengueclub.
