On behalf of Mayor Wilfredo Olivences, a committee of officials is appointed, together with the cooperative Vega Real Sosúa, for the cleaning operation on the beach of El Tablón. In an effort to keep Sosúa's beaches clean and strengthen commitment to the environment, Mayor Wilfredo Olivences has done this. The committee is led by the director of the Environmental Management Unit, Enrique Sánchez, and attended by councilor Fausto Santos and the businesswoman Vanesa Hernandez. This initiative has been developed in collaboration with the Vega Real Cooperative and representatives of the tourism sector, who participate in this important community work. The operation aims not only to clean the beach, but also to increase awareness among the population and visitors. Mayor Olivences emphasized the importance of these actions and thanked the participants for their efforts. He said that cooperation between authorities, the private sector and the community is key to sustainable development.
